Finally, we've reached a stage where I'm actually running out of things to say on air. Or maybe that's because today's line-up is so awesome that I don't want to interrupt the music. Two great artists, the first of whom is the legendary sitarist Pandit Nikhil Bannerjee. We've played a lot of him on the show and the more I listen to his music, the more it grows on me. So for the first half an hour, we have:

Next up is Ustad Rashid Khan, one of the biggest names in the Indian music industry. We haven't played too much of him on the show, and that's precisely why the next half an hour is dedicated to him. I also stumbled across this nice little interview of his on The Hindu. It is quite old, but pretty interesting to read.
