Welcome once again! Plenty of vocals in today's track list, so sit back and enjoy the wonderful flow of words. You might not be able to understand everything they say of course, but we can deal with that another day :)
To start off, we have Umeed Ali Khan, with Kafi Kanra. It's a phenomenal piece, an excellent demonstration of his skills over the course of thirty minutes, accompanied by Hamid Hussain on the saarangi and Allah Ditta on the tabla. From there, we move on to a set of shorter songs, sung by some of the best vocalists in Hindustani music - Ustad Rashid Khan, Amir Khan, Bade Ghulam Ali and the Dagar Brothers.
